Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 August 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a videoconference meeting with the British Minister of State for South Asia and the Commonwealth Lord Tariq Ahmad.

During the conversation, topical issues of Uzbek-British cooperation, interaction of the parties in the international arena were discussed.

The parties confirmed their readiness to continue political consultations on issues of mutual interest.

An exchange of views took place on the situation in Afghanistan and the prospects for further developments in this country.
