Uzbek FM holds meeting with EU Special Representative for Central Asia

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of developing cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU in political, trade-economic, investments and financial-technical spheres, including separate regional issues.

The parties considered the practical aspects of the preparation for the holding the inter-regional ministerial meeting of the European Union - Central Asia in Uzbekistan.

The sides also exchanged views on the schedule and agenda of the forthcoming bilateral contacts, meetings of joint institutions of interaction.

The head of the EU Delegation in Uzbekistan, Ambassador Eduards Stiprais attended the conversation.
