Uzbek FM holds meeting with Afghan delegation

Uzbek Foreign Ministry said that the Afghan delegation consisted of the Senior Adviser to the President on Infrastructure, Human Resources and Technology Humayun Qayumi and the President’s Special Representative for Development of Cooperation with CIS countries Mohammad Shakir Kargar.

The parties discussed in detail the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the visit of the government delegation of Uzbekistan to Kabul on January 23-24, 2017, and negotiations with the Afghan leadership.

In particular, the sides exchanged views on practical work on the implementation of the Plan (“Roadmap”) on the further development of full-scale cooperation between our countries in 2017.
