Uzbek FM holds a telephone conversation with the US Deputy Secretary of State

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 August 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a telephone conversation with Deputy Secretary of State of the United States of America Wendy Sherman.

During the conversation, various issues of Uzbek-American cooperation of mutual interest were discussed. An exchange of views took place on the situation in the region and the development of events in Afghanistan.
