Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with ASEAN Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between Central Asia and ASEAN.

During the talks, both sides emphasized the importance of deepening ties in key areas such as trade, security, and sustainable growth.

“Our discussions covered a broad range of priority issues, including regional development, strengthening bilateral relations between our regions, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration,” Saidov stated.

The minister also highlighted the shared commitment to closer engagement in addressing global challenges and maximizing mutual opportunities.

“There is no doubt that the further development of this partnership will serve as a foundation for prosperity and stability in our regions,” he added.
