Uzbek FM: Country Ready to Assist Victims of Earthquake in Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, expressed his condolences to the people and government of Afghanistan following the devastating earthquake that caused numerous casualties and significant destruction.

“We sincerely extend our condolences to the families of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery to all those affected. We stand in solidarity with the brotherly people of Afghanistan in this difficult time and reaffirm our readiness to provide all possible assistance in overcoming the consequences of this tragic natural disaster,” the minister stated.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Uzbekistan is prepared to provide the necessary support and assistance in the humanitarian sphere to mitigate the aftermath of the catastrophe, as well as to strengthen bilateral cooperation to aid the affected population.
