Uzbek enterprises produce goods worth 39.2 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In total, in January - October 2021 in Uzbekistan, 5,547 enterprises for the production of textile products produced goods worth 39.2 trillion soums, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said. Compared to January-October 2020, the physical volume index was 119.8%.

In particular, according to data from large enterprises:

- cotton yarn increased by 26.2 %;

- textile fabrics by 20.9 %;

- carpets and other rugs by 28.9 %;

- production of sacks and packaging bags by 9.1 %.

Also, the share of the Fergana region was 15.4% (855 operating textile enterprises), Tashkent region 10.0 % (463), Andijan 9.4% (602) and Samarkand 9.2% (390).
