Uzbek Emergency Ministry: No casualties in result of earthquake

No casualties or damages were registered in the result of the earthquake, which occurred in Uzbekistan at 14:09 Tashkent time on Monday, 26 October 2015, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan said.
According to Tashkent seismic station, the earthquake was registered at 14:09 Tashkent time on 26 October. The epicenter was located in southern-eastern directions in the territory of Afghanistan. The magnitude of the earthquake was 7.5 at the epicenter.
The power of tremors in Tashkent, Samarkand, Termez and Tashkent region was 5 points, Navoi, Karshi, Ferghana, Gulistan – 4, Bukhara and Jizzakh – 3-4 points, Andijan and Namangan – 3 points.
The Uzbek ministry said that no casualties or damages were registered in the territory of Uzbekistan.
