Uzbek Emergency Ministry calls citizens to observe safety measures

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Emergency Situation of Uzbekistan called citizens to observe safety measures in connection with heavy snows, expected low temperature and ice-covered grounds.

The ministry urged citizens to be vigilant when using heaters and furnaces, as well as to ensure the serviceability of chimneys and ventilation devices.

The citizens also should be careful and cautious when driving on the roads, the Uzbek ministry said.

The citizens also called people to refrain from travel to areas in mountains, where the avalanche take place.

The Uzbek Ministry asked people to wear warm clothes and footwear.
