Uzbek Embassy in Egypt Arranges Repatriation of Citizen’s Body

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Officials at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt facilitated the repatriation of the body of 38-year-old citizen B.A., who passed away in Egypt due to a heart attack, according to Dunyo news agency.

The diplomatic mission reported that immediately upon receiving news of the tragic event, contacts were established with the relevant Egyptian authorities, and all necessary documents were promptly processed to return the body to Uzbekistan.

Diplomats provided comprehensive support to the deceased’s relatives who were in Egypt and assisted with logistical arrangements, including coordination with the airline and funeral services.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, B.A.’s body was sent to Uzbekistan for burial in her homeland according to national traditions.
