Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - As previously reported, on 12 March, an Uzbek-Dutch agribusiness forum was held in Samarkand, the CCI press service reports.

The forum was attended by a delegation of business representatives led by the adviser to the Minister of Agriculture of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Meuves Brauver.

At the opening of this forum, the khokim of Samarkand region E. Turdimov made a welcoming speech. It was also attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan F. Usmanov and the director of the agency "Uzbekchorvanasl", as well as representatives of business circles.

A presentation on the agricultural potential of Uzbekistan, in particular, the Samarkand region, was held for guests. The delegation from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in turn, also made presentations on the agricultural potential of the Netherlands. In addition, a fair of local manufacturers was organized, where guests were presented goods manufactured in Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the Uzbek-Dutch agribusiness forum, meetings are held in the "B2B" format, where representatives of business circles of the two countries discuss issues of expanding trade and economic ties and developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
