Uzbek Diplomat Nurali Irzaev Appointed Deputy Secretary-General of the “Central Asia – China” Secretariat
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Xi’an, China, Nurali Irzaev has assumed the role of Deputy Secretary-General of the Secretariat of the “Central Asia – China” format, the Dunyo news agency reports.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Head of the Department for Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation with CIS Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Nurali Irzaev was born in the city of Navoi and is 43 years old. In 2005, he graduated from Tashkent State University with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in International Economic Relations.
Since 2005, he has worked within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, holding various positions in the central apparatus of the ministry as well as in the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing.
