Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 16 December 2020, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Furkat Sidikov held talks with the Director General of the Islamic Center for Trade Development of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (ICDT) Latifa El-Bouabdellawi in the format of a video conference.

During the meeting, it was noted that Uzbekistan is interested in further promoting constructive cooperation with the OIC and its subsidiary structures, one of which is the ICDT. In this regard, the issues of filling the interaction with practical content and the implementation of new joint projects in the areas of trade, investment, transport, etc. were discussed.

The leadership of the Islamic Center for Trade Development was pleased to accept the invitation to participate in international industry forums and exhibitions in Uzbekistan in 2021.

The parties also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
