Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 6 May 2022, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland Konstantin Obolensky.

At the meeting, congratulatory messages from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Federal President of the Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (on 7 May 1992) were exchanged.

The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, the holding of the next round of inter-MFA political consultations, the exchange of visits of business circles of the two countries, as well as mutual support within the framework of international organizations.

The parties expressed their commitment to continue active measures aimed at increasing bilateral cooperation and filling relations with new practical content.
