Uzbek delegation to attend session of CFM OIC

A delegation of Uzbekistan will participate in the work of the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (CFM OIC) in Mecca (Saudi Arabia).
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the session will take place on 17 November 2016.
During the session it is planning to consider topical issues of multilateral cooperation, including the candidacy of the new Secretary General of the OIC.
Within the visit to Mecca the Uzbek delegation also planned to hold a number of meetings in OIC General Secretary, as well as with heads of delegations from other countries to discuss the implementation of the priorities of the presidency of Uzbekistan in the Council of Foreign Ministers of the organization and the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
