Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) is underway in Baku, Azerbaijan, with a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Tanzila Narbayeva, actively participating.

The key theme of the session is "The Role of Parliamentary Diplomacy in Strengthening Multilateral Cooperation in Asia." Representatives from 30 national parliaments are engaging in discussions on pressing issues of interstate collaboration.

During her address at the plenary session, Tanzila Narbayeva outlined several significant initiatives aimed at expanding cooperation in parliamentary diplomacy, sharing legislative experiences, and enhancing joint actions on environmental security and climate change.

Her proposals received broad support from session participants, underscoring the importance of international cooperation in addressing global challenges.
