Uzbek Delegation Participates in the International Forum Digital Tajikistan 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The international forum Digital Tajikistan 2025 was held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, with the participation of a delegation from Uzbekistan led by Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov.

The event brought together representatives of government bodies, IT companies, experts, and international organizations at both global and regional levels.

The forum focused on best practices in the development of the digital economy, the enhancement of e-government systems, and the implementation of artificial intelligence and digital services.

In his speech, Minister Sherzod Shermatov highlighted Uzbekistan’s large-scale reforms in the field of e-government and the digital economy, emphasizing efforts to improve the accessibility of digital public services for citizens and businesses, strengthen information security, and enhance digital literacy across the population.

Participants were also briefed on ongoing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the digital sphere, including joint work on IT education, startup ecosystem development, and prospects for future digital projects.

During the visit, the Uzbek delegation familiarized itself with Tajikistan’s latest achievements in information technology, upgrades to its digital infrastructure, and progress in the digitalization of public services.
