Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 June, the Uzbek delegation, as part of its stay in Dushanbe, met with the rector of the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University Tokhir Khojazoda and the director of the Center for Geopolitical Research at this institution, Guzel Maitdinova.

Within the framework of the talks, the participants highly appreciated the state of the Uzbek-Tajik cooperation. It was emphasized that thanks to the agreements between the Heads of State Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Emomali Rahmon, the interaction of the two countries demonstrates a confident, progressive character in all areas.

It was noted that joint research and the development of complex expert and analytical cooperation will further expand contacts and search for "new points of growth." In addition, the University is interested in organizing online lectures by the IICA staff for students and teachers on topical issues of bilateral cooperation and regional partnership.

In order to ensure high-quality interaction in this direction, the International Institute of Central Asia and the Russian-Tajik (Slavic) University signed a Cooperation Agreement, which provides for joint research, publication of scientific articles, monographs and the organization of conferences, round tables, seminars.
