Uzbek Delegation Discusses Expansion of IT and Investment Projects with 4iG
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During the official visit to Hungary, an Uzbek delegation met with Gellért Jasági, Chairman of the Board of 4iG, to discuss the development of international business cooperation.
The discussions focused on expanding bilateral engagement between Hungary and Uzbekistan, implementing investment and technology projects, and joint initiatives in information technology, digital infrastructure, privatization, and alternative energy.
Gellért Jasági provided detailed insights into the company’s ongoing IT system integration, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, defense, and space technology projects. He noted that 4iG is actively operating in Central and Southeast Europe and is particularly interested in the Central Asian market, especially Uzbekistan.
4iG’s portfolio includes joint projects Mobile.uz and UzCosmos, which focus on developing digital services and satellite technologies.
The meeting also covered Uzbekistan’s large-scale reforms, economic liberalization measures, industrial modernization, and efforts to create a favorable investment climate. Jasági emphasized the political and legal stability of the Uzbek market, highlighting its strong macroeconomic indicators and young population as key factors supporting business development.
Participants discussed in detail joint investment and IT projects, digital infrastructure development, Mobile.uz platforms, data centers, as well as Earth observation and satellite monitoring initiatives.
Following the discussions, both sides agreed to continue collaboration across all areas, establishing regular information exchange to ensure effective implementation of the initiatives.
