Uzbek cuisine presented at International Cuisine Day in Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR) under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia held a students’ festival, which was held within the International Cuisine Day.

Student organizations and art collective students from various countries participated at the festival. Students from Uzbekistan presented the Uzbek rich cuisine at the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia and Fund Forum.

Uzbek students presented samsa, patir, various sweets, Uzbek plov and others, Fund Forum said. Many guests had great chance to taste Uzbek cuisine at the event.

Yuriy Fenenko, deputy dean on work with foreign students of the MSIIR, said that today it is one of the great events at the university as students and teachers can familiarize with culture of other nationalities. He praised preparation of the Uzbek students and added that the Uzbek students always have “high culture”.

Aleksander Benza, student of the MSIIR, said that he was impressed with culture of Uzbekistan and received information about the country. He said that Uzbekistan is very perspective tourism direction.
