Uzbek cotton fair to be held in mid-October

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On measures on organization and holding the Twelfth International Uzbek Cotton and Textile Fair”.

The International Uzbek Cotton and Textile Fair will take place in the Uzbek capital on 12-13 October 2016.

The fair is aimed at further expanding long-term cooperation with international organizations and foreign companies, leading processors and consumers of cotton, analyze trends in cotton markets, etc.

Uzbekistan signed contracts for supply of over 700,000 tonnes of cotton fiber within the Eleventh International Uzbek cotton and textile fair, which was held in Tashkent on 15-16 October 2015.
