Uzbek Consulate in Türkiye Assists in Returning Seriously Ill Girl to Home Country

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Türkiye facilitated the return of a 5-year-old Uzbek girl suffering from a serious illness.

Since December 2025, the child had been receiving treatment at the private Acıbadem Clinic. Through coordinated efforts between the consulate and the Uzbekistan Migration Agency’s representation in Türkiye, the patient was safely transported home, accompanied by qualified medical personnel and family members.

The consulate highlighted the support provided by Uzbekistan Airways, the Ministries of Health of Türkiye and Uzbekistan, and specialists from Acıbadem Clinic in ensuring the operation’s success.

In a statement on its Telegram channel, the consulate expressed gratitude to all who contributed to this charitable initiative and wished the girl and her family a speedy recovery and good health.

Additionally, the diplomats urged fellow citizens to exercise caution due to an increase in medical service-related fraud in Türkiye and recommended relying only on verified and trusted sources when seeking healthcare assistance.
