Uzbek Competition Committee Approves Economic Concentration Deal Between MAKESENSE and ARHAT GRAVURE
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Committee for the Development of Competition and Consumer Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan has reviewed an application submitted by private enterprise LLC MAKESENSE regarding the acquisition of shares in the charter capital of LLC ARHAT GRAVURE.
MAKESENSE implements investment projects through its subsidiaries, including participation in the Uzum Nasiya installment payment system on the country’s leading e-commerce platform.
ARHAT GRAVURE is engaged in the distribution of telecommunications equipment.
Following a comprehensive analysis, the Committee concluded that the proposed transaction poses no threat to market competition and will not result in a dominant market position.
Based on national antitrust legislation, the Committee’s special commission approved the transaction, setting conditions to preserve a healthy competitive environment.
