Uzbek companies issue shares for over 1.64 trln. soums

The Center for coordination and development of securities market registered 68 issues of securities of the joint stock companies with total volume of 1.64 trillion soums on par value.
According to the Center, the volume of IPO emissions made up 6 billion soums, additional issues – 1.006 trillion soums and new issues – 630.6 billion soums.
The emission of shares in the first quarter of 2016 exceeded the volume of the same period of 2014 by 244.6 billion soums.
As of 1 April 2016, total volume of circulating issued shares, emitted by 697 joint stock companies, made up 17.6 trillion soums on nominal value.
The Center said that no corporate or infrastructure bonds were registered in the first quarter of 2016. As of 1 April 2016, some 158 issues of corporate bonds of 101 issuers for 498.9 billion soums were issued, of which 96 were repaid and 19 annulled.
