Uzbek companies issue shares for 29.76 trln. soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
As of 1 July 2016, some 687 joint stock companies were registered in Uzbekistan, of which 24 are commercial banks.
According to the Center for coordination and development of securities market, total volume of issued shares on par value reached 29.76 trillion soums, of which 4.09 trillion soums fell to share of the commercial banks.
Currently, there are 2.89 trillion unites of ordinary and preferential stocks in circulation.
