Uzbek companies issue shares for 14 trln. soums
At the same time, the Center recalled that last year, the Uzbek companies registered 173 emission of shares for 4.8 trillion soums.
The Center said that the volume of IPO issues made up 1.045 trillion soums, additional emission – 12.087 trillion soums and new issues – 816.7 billion soums.
In the second quarter, the Center registered the largest emissions in history. Uzbekenergo registered the emission for 7.41 trillion soums and Uzbekneftegaz – 3.23 trillion soums, as well as primary emission of Uzqurilishmateriallari for 1 trillion soums. About 50 companies registered the emission of securities.
Number of issued shares and those in circulation made up 2.89 trillion units as of 1 July 2016, which rose by 0.59 trillion units compared to the beginning of 2016 and 0.87 trillion units compared to 1 July 2016.
The volume of issued shares on par value exceeds 29.7 trillion soums, which rose by 16.8 trillion soums or 2.3 times higher compared to 1 July 2015.
In the first half of 2016, the Center did not register issues of corporate and infrastructure bonds. So far, the Center registered 158 emission of corporate bonds of 101 enterprises for 298.9 billion soums. Some 96 of them were repaid and 19 annulled.
