Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to Presidential Decree from 20 December 2021, in connection with the Navruz holiday in 2022, for all employees (regardless of the types of working week) in Uzbekistan, 22 and 23 March are set as additional non-working days.
According to the document, during the celebration of Navruz, Uzbeks will rest on the following days:
- 20 March - Sunday (day off according to the calendar);
- 21 March - Monday (holiday non-working day);
- 22 March - Tuesday (additional non-working day);
- 23 March - Wednesday (additional non-working day).
19 March will be Saturday. It is known that in some state and non-state institutions the work schedule consists of five working days (Monday - Friday). In this case, the Uzbek citizens will rest for five days in a row.
