Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan began to limit the time of the work of gas stations due to the onset of cold weather. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
The ministry notes that from 17 November, at automobile gas filling compressor stations (CNG filling stations) in the regions of Uzbekistan, temporary restrictions are imposed on the gas supply schedule.
The department emphasized that the operating schedules of the CNG filling station are approved by the regional administrations.
“The purpose of this measure is to ensure the stability of natural gas supplies to the population, hospitals, schools, preschool institutions, as well as large power plants, the supply of natural gas to which is a guarantee of your electricity supply,” the Ministry of Energy said.
The ministry added that these restrictive measures are temporary and if appropriate conditions arise, CNG stations will return to normal operation.
