Uzbek Citizens Spent 7.7 Trillion Soums on Insurance in January–August 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January–August 2025, Uzbek citizens and companies purchased insurance services worth 7.7 trillion soums, which is 1.7 trillion soums more than in the same period of 2024, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The main share of the insurance market was accounted for by accident, motor vehicle, cargo, and property insurance, which together represented 81% of the total volume of services.

Reinsurance made up 13.9%, while life insurance accounted for 5.1%.
