Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 January 2020, 2,580,133 cars were owned by citizens of Uzbekistan. The press service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan reported.

In particular, the number of passenger cars makes up 2,410,421, trucks - 150,294, buses - 5,072.

Citizens also own 10,590 minibuses and 3,756 special vehicles.

According to the State Statistics Committee, the most of the cars are registered in Samarkand region (311,997 units). Tashkent region ranks second (253,073) and Ferghana region - third (243,230).
