Uzbek citizens killed in a traffic accident in Perm Krai

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan has reported a road accident that resulted in the deaths of Uzbek citizens.
According to the diplomatic mission, the accident occurred on February 22 at around 06:00 in the Osinsky district of Perm Krai, Russia. A Lada Largus car with Uzbek license plates (75B435NA) collided with a SIMAZ bus.
As a result of the accident, three people lost their lives: E. F. A. and Zh. A. Sh. died at the scene, while O. A. M. succumbed to injuries in the hospital. Three other Uzbek citizens — S. B. I., R. M. A., and K. F. Zh. — sustained various injuries and were hospitalized at the Osinsky Central District Hospital.
Preliminary data from the Perm Krai Traffic Police indicate that the driver of the Lada Largus, while traveling on a secondary road, failed to yield at an uncontrolled intersection to the bus, which was moving along the main road, leading to the collision.
An investigation is underway to determine all the circumstances of the incident.
The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Kazan stated that it is closely monitoring the situation. "The procedure for repatriating the bodies of the deceased has been completed, and the injured are receiving the necessary medical assistance," the diplomatic mission’s statement read.
