Uzbek citizens can purchase goods for US$1,000 per quarter from foreign online shops

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan reduced the duty-free importation of goods purchased by the population through online stores and delivered by international postal and courier companies to US$1,000 per quarter.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution on measures to ensure control and accounting of goods entering the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan to individuals in international postal and courier companies.

Previously, individuals could duty-free import goods purchased online, through courier companies for up to US$1,000 per month.
