Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - From 1 January 2022, a number of services will be provided through the Public Service Centers.

In particular, from 1 January 2022, registration and issuance of a biometric passport to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for traveling abroad to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be carried out alternatively (along with departments of internal affairs) and through the Centers of public services.

At the same time, the amount of payment for issuing biometric passports to citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan for traveling abroad is set at 1 basic estimated value.

By the end of 2022, it is planned to gradually create such an opportunity in all Public Service Centers.

In the Public Service Centers, services are provided on the basis of the principle of extraterritoriality (regardless of the place of registration).
