Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Republican Special Commission continues systematic work on the transportation of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan from different regions of the Russian Federation to their homeland. Railway and charter flights are carried out.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan, worked out and submitted to the Special Republican Commission the organization from 28 August on a weekly basis of trains of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari to Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk and Samara.
Currently, there is a massive gathering of fellow citizens, in some places, including at railway stations, which negatively affects the planned schedule for the export of fellow citizens from foreign countries.
The Uzbek Foreign Ministry emphasize that in a pandemic of coronavirus infection, a mass gathering of citizens increases the risks of contracting the virus, especially people at risk (elderly, pregnant women, patients, including those with chronic diseases).
The agency earnestly asks fellow citizens who are on the territory of Russia not to gather at train stations, stay in the places of their current stay and strictly observe all quarantine measures and not endanger their health and the health of others.
