Uzbek-Chinese Trade and Economic Forum Held in Beijing with Participation from Ferghana Region
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbek-Chinese Trade, Economic, and Investment Forum took place in Beijing, the capital of the People’s Republic of China.
A delegation from Ferghana Region actively participated in the event, led by the region’s Deputy Hokim and Head of the Department of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Nuriddin Mamadjonov. The delegation included over 20 officials and business representatives from the region.
As part of the forum, an exhibition titled “Products of Ferghana” was organized, showcasing the region’s economic potential and national heritage.
Visitors were able to explore unique handcrafted wooden items, exquisite ceramics, medicinal dried fruits, fresh fruits, as well as traditional Uzbek fabrics such as atlas and adras.
The products presented at the exhibition drew significant interest from Chinese entrepreneurs. The forum also included an exchange of documents to formalize cooperation agreements.
