Uzbek, Chinese FMs hold talks in Beijing

On 29 January 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who is in China on a working visit, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi in Beijing.
The foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and China discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as some international and regional problems.
A special attention was paid to the cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the SCO, to the preparation for the upcoming Summit in Tashkent and other events during the presidency of Uzbekistan in the organization.
