Uzbek Bread Named Among the World’s Top 50

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The renowned portal CNN Travel has published a list of the 50 best breads in the world, and Uzbek national bread — non — has been included.

The publication highlights that traditional Uzbek flatbreads are decorated with patterns, flowers, and special stamps, and are baked in traditional tandoors.

Moreover, the shape and taste of the bread vary by region — from Tashkent to Samarkand, each local non has its own distinctive characteristics.

CNN Travel also notes that freshly baked bread is delivered to markets and cafés by special carriers known as chopars.
