Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 22 July 2022, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Norov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Makei.

The main attention was paid to the interaction of the two countries within the framework of international institutions, primarily the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Topical issues of Uzbek-Belarusian cooperation were also considered. The interest of the parties in the further development of political dialogue, trade and economic ties, and cultural and humanitarian exchanges was confirmed.

The conversation was held in an open and businesslike atmosphere. An agreement was reached to maintain working contacts on issues of interest to the parties.
