The Open Eurasia competition is part of the Open Eurasian Literary Festival & Book Forum (OEBF). This year it was held for the first time in Uzbekistan from 15 to 19 December, bringing together participants from 15 countries of the world at the venues of Tashkent and Samarkand.

One of the important events of the OEBF was the ceremony of awarding the laureates of the British Open Eurasia competition. In 2021, more than 1000 applications were submitted for the competition by participants from 53 countries of the world.

The Grand Prix of the literary competition, a grant of US$7000 from Hertfordshire Press, was taken by the representative of Uzbekistan Andrei Grodzinsky. This grant will enable the author to publish the book in London. The diploma for the first place was awarded to Andrei Grodzinsky by Janusz Wisniewski himself. He wished the author future creative successes.

Another representative of Uzbekistan, Zulkhumar Kendzhaeva, took an honorable second place in Small Prose. Her work in Uzbek did not leave indifferent the jury of the competition.

The presentation of the book by Andrey Godzinsky will take place at the next Open Eurasian Literary Festival & Book Forum in London in November 2022
