Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Oybek Shakhavdinov presented his credentials to the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, according to Dunyo News Agency.

Following the official ceremony, a meeting was held where the parties discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovenia. Special attention was given to enhancing trade, economic, and investment ties, as well as fostering political, economic, and cultural collaboration.

During the dialogue, the schedules of planned events at various levels were reviewed to further expand cooperation. Both sides expressed their commitment to implementing joint projects and advancing their relations.

It is worth noting that earlier this year, Oybek Shakhavdinov, who was appointed as Uzbekistan’s first ambassador to Slovenia, submitted copies of his credentials to representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Additionally, Shakhavdinov serves as Uzbekistan’s first ambassador to Hungary, with his residence in Budapest, and is concurrently accredited to Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia.
