Uzbek Ambassador Discusses Expanded Cooperation with Japan’s Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov held a meeting with Japan’s Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications Yoshimasa Hayashi, the Dunyo news agency reports.

The minister noted that Uzbekistan is an important strategic partner for Japan and expressed the government’s, led by Sanae Takaichi, strong interest in further developing broad-based bilateral cooperation.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to maintain regular dialogue with Yoshimasa Hayashi to further expand bilateral engagement.
