Uzbek, Algerian officials hold talks in Tashkent

Hassane Rabehi arrived in Uzbekistan to attend in the 43rd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Rabehi congratulated the Uzbek side with the fruitful results of the completed the 43rd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

At the meeting, the sides discussed actual issues of cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.

The sides affirmed mutual interest I gradual development of relations in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres. The sides noted that it is necessary to create legal base of the Uzbek-Algerian relations and boost contacts at various levels.

At the end of the meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan signed a protocol of cooperation and consultations.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Naceur Boucherit, attended the negotiations.
