Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – An Uzbek-Afghan business forum was held in Termez, Surkhandarya region.
The key topic of the event was the strengthening of bilateral ties between the business communities of the two countries, as a decisive factor in the further development of investment and trade and economic Uzbek-Afghan cooperation.
Governor of Balkh province Mahammad Azimi, chairman of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce Muhammad Ismoil Gazanfar, director of the Builders Association Hamidullah Habibi, representatives of the Ministry of Commerce of Afghanistan, as well as a business delegation of more than 70 Afghan businessmen took part in the business forum from the Afghan side.
The Uzbek side was attended by the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry I. Ikramov, as well as representatives of responsible ministries and departments and business circles from almost all regions of the republic.
Within the framework of the business forum of the business forum, a cooperation exchange is being held with negotiations in the B2B format, as well as an exhibition of domestic products "Made in Uzbekistan".
As a result of the event, a number of documents were signed. A roadmap was signed to expand trade and economic ties with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Afghanistan.
