UzBAT A.O. to pay dividends on shares for 2009

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Shareholders of British American Tobacco Uzbekistan (UzBAT), an Uzbek-British joint venture, adopted decision to pay dividends for 2009 at their general meeting.

Shareholders directed 21/369 billion soums for payment of dividends for 2009. The company will pay 867 soums per ordinary share.

Total number of shares, on which the company will pay dividends, makes up 24,647,557.

Other part of net income for 2009, which remains after dividends payment, will be directed to “Cumulative income” account.
