UzAuto Motors to launch production of affordable seven-seater vehicle in Khorezm

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — UzAuto Motors will begin producing an affordable vehicle at its facility in Khorezm Region, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced.

According to the President, the plant in Tuproqqal’a will manufacture a market-demanded, low-cost vehicle with a US$100 million investment.

The car will meet Euro-5 environmental standards and feature seven seats.

President Mirziyoyev instructed officials to finalize negotiations with partners by the end of this year, launch production using the semi-knocked down (SKD) assembly method in 2026, and transition to full-cycle manufacturing by 2027, reaching a localization level of 50%.
