Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The State Unitary Enterprise “Uzaeronavigatsiya” under the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan has officially joined the international environmental initiative GAIN (Green Aviation Insights).
This global platform aims to enhance the environmental efficiency of the aviation sector and improve sustainable development practices in air traffic management.
Joining GAIN represents an important step for Uzaeronavigatsiya in implementing its strategic sustainable development agenda, increasing operational efficiency, and reducing the environmental impact of aviation.
Green Aviation Insights (GAIN) was developed by the UK-based air navigation service provider NATS and brings together leading ANSP organizations worldwide.
The platform allows participants to comprehensively analyze flight environmental metrics, share data, conduct benchmarking, and jointly develop solutions to reduce aviation’s carbon footprint.
Participants can monitor and compare key performance indicators, including flight trajectories, climb and descent profiles, holding times, and other factors affecting CO₂ emissions.
