Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Citizen M.Sh., who lives in the city of Termez, Surkhandarya region, applying to the police department with a statement, explained that an unknown person had stolen funds in the amount of 75,700,000 soums from his bank card account. 

In this regard, the author of the application asked to take legal measures against an unknown person and to assist in the return of money. This was reported by the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In the course of the conducted operational-search activities, a 4-year student M.A., born in 1997, who committed this crime, was identified.

As M.A. explained, he came up with this plan during an internship at a branch of one of the banks, where, having activated a bank card issued in the name of an unknown person, through the banking system, he made a call to the victim, saying that he was a bank employee, and appropriated SMS message, after which he transferred all available funds to the account of a bank card issued in the name of an unknown person, which he then cashed out through various ATMs.

With regard to citizen M.A. a criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and a preliminary investigation is underway.
