United States Central Command Partners on Border Security in Uzbekistan

The US Embassy in Tashkent said that these trucks were produced locally in Samarkand, and will expand the Border Guards’ vehicle fleet.

Last year, the US Central Command delivered twenty of the same vehicles for use by the Border Guards within Uzbekistan.

These deliveries are a part of the continuing cooperation between the United States and Uzbekistan. They also serve to underscore the United States’ support of Uzbekistan’s border security.
