UNESCO hands over certificates to Uzbekistan

The certificates on inclusion of Mountains of Western Tien Shan to the UNESCO World Heritage List were handed over to the State Nature Committee of Uzbekistan, Navruz to the Ministry of Culture and Sports and Palov to Chefs Association of Uzbekistan.

Christa Pikkat, Head of UNESCO Office in Uzbekistan, noted that the main objective of the Convention “On the World Cultural and Natural Heritage” is directed to preserve the unique cultural monuments and natural sites, dissemination of knowledge on their significance and importance.
