Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed the First Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan.

According to the decree of the head of state from 29 June 2020, Uktam Rakhimovich Salomov was appointed first deputy minister of higher and secondary special education of Uzbekistan.

Prior to this appointment, he worked as rector of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent.
